Elton John's "Daniel" took on a new tearful meaning for me - as you entered - we both had a love for contemporary music. Always lighting up a room, indeed almost anything you touched, I feel privileged to be able to share your memory in mine and, promise, even in such a sad year, it won't be going anywhere soon! Of all the fabulous endearing tributes at St Paul and St Peters today, where nearly *400 of us from various parts of your life came to say goodbye, an emotional brother Matthew summed it up "there won't be anyone here today who can possibly say that their lives haven't in some way been enriched by knowing Danny".... .... and "Legend!"
